Kirsten Burger works as a film and theatre director, writer and director of the young RambaZamba Theatre, Berlin. From 1996 -1998 she studied free arts with Prof. Adolf Frohner in Vienna and in Hamburg with Johannes Süttgen, a student of Joseph Beuys. 2002 she completed her B.A. studies in Physical Theatre in Berlin. 2003-2006 she worked as an actress, e.g. at the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Deutsche Oper, Haus der Berliner Festspiele (Berlin). In 2006 she was a founding member and the conceptual director of the collective Oper Dynamo West for new music theatre. From 2012 onwards, Burger has realised theatrical interventions as well as experimental and essay films in various contexts and with people from a wide range of backgrounds. She won several international prizes for her cinematic work.
Franziska Pack is a performer & educator. Her background is in partner acrobatics and she is also involved with dance, clown and high wire. Contemporary circus is where she feels at home. She is co-founder of the company “the kickpäck”. She has worked with Kirsten Burger for many years and on numerous projects.
Rocío Rodríguez works as a video artist and videographer in theatre. She first studied dance, later film and communication. She is currently completing a Master’s degree in Philosophy and Culture.
