Hannah Schillinger is a choreographer, dancer and artist based in Berlin. She studied BA Modern Theatre Dance at the AHK Amsterdam and danced in the ensemble of the dance company ICK Amsterdam. Afterwards, she completed her MA in Choreography at HZT Berlin, within which she premiered the works „vacuum“ (2021) as well as „runners“ (2022). During her master studies she was a scholarship holder of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes. Influenced by postmodern, European-American dance history as well as a society imprinted by late capitalism, her artistic practice deals with the themes of climate and energy crisis as well as virtuality and absence. Schillinger’s works are created collaboratively and move between dance, theater, and visual art.
