People pleaser – Giorgia Bovo in collaboration with Carley Marholin

“People pleaser” is about our constant urge to be liked. It’s an ironic look into the absurd and impossible situations we put ourselves into in order to appeal to others and to make them happy.

This work-in-progress deals with the image of ourselves that we want the world to see, in contrast with the struggle behind it, and it merges these two sides of the same coin in a chaotic, ironic and surreal way.Giorgia Bovo in collaboration with Carley Marholin

Coexistence – Gustiele Fistaról

Inspired by the concept of Infraordinary and pointing out a tree as the main performer, Coexistence draws ways to instigate the public to interact with it, either by dancing or watching the small dances that happen along its body. Embracing the idea that everything on Earth is nature and life migrates from body to body, the research is built through a practice of using spoken words emitted from one body, moving into space, and embodying other bodies, to reflect on coexistence.

We Only Work In Spirals is a project that brings together the world of music, circus and performance into a ritual of acts. It aims to combine instant music performance while using the hair hanging technique. The soundscape is the outcome of looping the sounds that are occurred through unexpected simple actions.
