Danila Lipatov (*1989 in Moscow) and Karen Zimmermann (*1986 in Iserlohn) live and work in Berlin. They studied together at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. Since 2017, Danila and Karen have been working collaboratively. They have been invited to
Ruhrtriennale, Favoriten Festival and Visions du Réel, among others. Their artistic practice has constantly oscillated between documentary and performative methods to address the questions of personal archive and public performance.
