In Halb Baum Halb Mensch Halb Fisch #2 I explore the potential of a performance to become an ecosystem of its own, inviting visitors into a reciprocal relationship with sculptural objects woven of bark pieces, alongside a voice practice focused on breath and resonance. I will continue my work on a weave made of willow bark pieces, exploring how the subtle movements of weight shift, breath and voice can be amplified by this scale-like structure, and what fields of association between the human body and bark might open.The research asks how performance can produce an aesthetics of sustainable interrelation that occurs across the boundaries of human and more-than-human bodies.
