Martin Ixora is an Italian-German-Venezuelan dancer, actor and choreographer based in Berlin. Their work bridges street and club dance cultures with theatrical storytelling. Holding a Master in Performing Arts, they have performed in films and theaters such as Volkstheater Wien and Schauspielhaus Graz and premiered their Choreography Jack of All Trades at Berliner Festspiele with their Crew Extended Family. Trained in Hip-Hop under mentors like Flashhaddi and Winston Allan Phillips in Germany, Venezuela, and Colombia, they expanded their foundation through the Cipher Dojo, international collaborations in Uganda and Cameroon and most recently as Resident of the Choreography Lab at Mosounturm by Saido Lehlouh. Their artistic work focuses on socially critical topics like syncretism, sexualised violence, death and modern Family concepts.
