Paweł Reczek is a Polish artist whose multidisciplinary practice spans performance, drawing, painting, film, sculpture, and photography, exploring the body as both material and tool. With a background in theatre and performance and formative experiences in Warsaw, Milan, and Paris, he has developed a visual language rooted in action, repetition, and physical presence. In his studio, Reczek employs theatrical techniques to generate drawings through embodied protocols, leaving traces of movement and gesture on paper. His work blurs the boundaries between performance and its documentation, questioning their roles. Central to his practice is an ongoing exploration of queer identity and selfhood, articulated through the creation of shifting alter egos.
