choreographer, dancer & teacher
During the last few years, Finnish choreographer and dancer Nadja Pärssinen has repeatedly been inspired in her choreographic thinking by e.g. about the effect of visuality and sound on bodily thinking. She is inspired by how choreography manifests as a playground, through process and task orientation or as an act of stepping on the edge of the unknown and relation to materials and environment. Qigong, Yoga, hiking in nature, climbing, kinesthetic practices based on touch, instant composition and feminist/philosophical literature also support her existence in this world.
