Luisa Pisetta Ravanelli

Luisa Pisetta Ravanelli is a sound-based artist based in Vienna. In her art practice, she continues to question human rights discourses, currently focusing on how discrimination against sexual minorities is framed in different contexts, ranging from law to house dance. Autobiographical archives are prominent in her work, where her intimate obsessions become the thread that ties together complex discourses in politically challenging environments. Her main quest is to reach seemingly remote planets.  She holds a master’s degree in ‘Applied Human Rights’ obtained at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. In 2024, she was a recipient of the DanceWeb Scholarship program.
