JAM & Bread
A Contact Improvisation Jam held every Monday at LAKE.
Hosted by Noa Hulday
WHEN
Introduction 19H
Jam 20H
HOW MUCH
Intro + Jam = 10€
Jam only = 7€

The introduction will be a focused time guided by Noa, with the intention of tuning into a state of improvisation, creativity, and connection- with oneself, the group, the space, and the world. It will include somatic warm-ups, CI scores, readings from the wonderful collection of Lake Studio’s Contact Quarterly magazines, and more. An hour to reconnect with the spirit of contact improvisation practice.
The jam is an open, unguided space that invites participants to connect with themselves and others through dance, touch, and improvisation. I’m doing my best to create the safest space I can, and I’ll be available throughout the jam if you’d like to reach out for any reason.
Outside the studio, there will be a station with freshly baked bread, vegan butter, and jam. Participants are welcome to contribute to the table with their own breads and spreads.

Noa Hulday is a dancer, choreographer, and poet based in Berlin.
Her work weaves together movement, video, and sound, drawing inspiration from nature, landscapes, and the textures of everyday life.
She creates spaces for people to gather, create, and connect through contact improvisation, movement, writing, and other creative practices.
She is a co-host of the “Midday Monday” Berlin jam, and hosts contact improvisation events at Lake Studios, where she has been a close neighbor and collaborator for the past year, nurturing a growing community around dance, performance, and shared practice.
Off the dance floor, Noa is also a hand-poke tattoo artist, bodyworker (Ilan lev method and Shiatsu) and loves to cook, occasionally bringing her food to share at Lake Studios events.
