“Unsichtbar” transforms the story of “The Little Prince” by Antoine de St. Exupery into a captivating live-radio play and a multi-sensory experience for an audience spanning from children to adults. The spoken word is interspersed with many songs, adding to the emotional intensity of the story. This performance extends traditional storytelling by engaging touch, smell and sound. The audience enters into a dark room, lit only by the appearance of flickering stars on the ceiling. It then gets blindfolded and experiences the narrative’s milestones through the sounds, song, nuanced textures and scents, all corresponding to the story’s unfolding events. This adaptation underscores the profound ability of our senses to unlock new dimensions of perception, mirroring the story’s insight that the most important things are invisible to the eye.
The piece is intended for children (age 6 and older), teenagers and adults.
