Giovana Sanchez is a Brazilian dance artist and performer, and a graduate of PERA – School of Performing Arts (GAU) in Cyprus. Her artistic journey has led her to collaborate for Opuntia Dance Co, Sabrina Gargano, Julia Brendel, Harry Koushos, Maria Doulgeri, Kay Crook, Rafaela Sahyoun, Danae Dimitriadi & Dionysius Alamanos, Gustavo Oliveira, Joana Borges, SLOWDANGER, Victor Hugo Pontes, Marco da Silva Ferreira, Ricardo Ambrósio, Amélia Bentes, Pedro Ramos and Daniela Cruz.Giovana has shown her choreographic work at festivals such as No_Body Festival MOVE5 in Nicosia, Curtas de Angra do Heroísmo, Teatro de Rua Festival in Terceira, and both Singularidades and Pluralidades in São Miguel.Since 2022, she has been dancing for 37.25 NAP. In 2023, she completed the FOR Dance Theatre program, further deepening her artistic research and stage practice. In 2024, she joined the team of resident artists at Palácio do Grilo, where she collaborated with Mikhail Karikis, Teatro Oficina Uzyna Uzona, and Thiago Granato.
