Unlike most hip hop classes where you only copy the instructor, this class offers tools and technique in an improvisational research way; games and partnering methods are given and you will explore how your body would react and adapt to it organically, ultimately developing your own style. From angular puzzle prisms of tutting, minimal isolations of waving, dynamic traveling steps of house to yoga and martial arts poses that can develop into breakdance freezes: All are tools to let your imagination dance without limits. Come join the fun! At the end of the class is a jam/party session.
Barefoot or with shoes.
Kazuma & Martin will teach collaboratively. Some weeks will be only Kazuma, some weeks only Martin and some weeks both together! Nov 6- Dec 4 will be taught by Martin only.
